Mr Newton King’s Stratford springing heifer sale takes place at tire Stratford yards to-morrow. .To-morrow Mr. Newton King conducts a stock sale at the Stratford yards. We draw the attention of our country readers to the advertisement appearing in another column, whereby Mr. Newton King advises that for the present he is not Inlying calves’ stomachs. Messrs Ferguson Brothers, the wellknown Toko butchers, who, it will be remembered, at least, by older - residents, took their meat delivery car ts to Huiroa and Douglas sixteen years ago, have just re-purchased their Douglas butchery branch, which for about three years Mr A. Needham has conducted. Old friends will be glad to welcome Messrs Ferguson. Mr Needham is giving up butchering to enable him to devote more attention to Iris farm. Messrs' Voung, Hobbs and Co. hold a stock sale at Eltharn on Wednesday next, August 9th. On Thursday, August 10th, Messrs Lillies and A alder hold a stock sale at tiro Glover Road yards, Hawera.
