MASTERYON'S MISSING MAN.

AN UNSUCCESSFUL SEARCH. (Per Press Association.) Mastorton, August 7. Over, one hundred townsfolk organised and conducted a systematic search for the missing man, Jas. Kingdon yesterday, (he various parties covering the whole country from Lansdown- dam to the junction of the Waingawa and Ruamahunga rivers. Tlio search proved fruitless. A cap was found .on the bank of the Waipoua river, and one of the missing man’s sisters expressed the opinion that this belonged to her brother. The young men in the party which wont to Carterton with Kingdom, however, aver that this was aot-vjtho cap worn by him. Sergeant Miller and members of tlie local police force joined in yesterday’s search.
