HOCKEY.
The trial match to select a ladies’ rep. team, which was to have been played in Stratford on Saturday, was not played, being postponed for a week. On Wednesday a trial match will bo played at Hawcra to enable a men’s rep. team to bo picked. Stratford and Inglewood meet on Thursday of next week in the final for tho championship in the no: thorn division.
