At the National Catholic Congress at Newcastle, Archbishop Bourno, said tho Catholics of England looked to the Government to protect the rights, of British Catholics in Portugal, and inform Portugal that Britain’s friendship can only bo retained by the discontinuance of her unjust and degrading conduct towards them.
