Raisin Cake.—Ci earn together one and a half tablespoons lard or butter and throe tablespoons of sugar. Then add one egg, one cun sweet milk, one quarter teaspoon salt, two cups Hour, three teaspoons baking powder, one half cup small raisins, put in goodsized pan, pour melted butter over top, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and bake in a moderate oven.
