(Per Press Association.) Wellington, August 3. Patrick Hayden, aged 33, a waggoner, wont into a doorway in Cuba Street at 11 o’clock last night, and stabbed himself in the stomach with a penknife. Ho collapsed on the footpath and was carried to a neighbouring doctor’s, and was then removed to the hospital, where lie lies in a critical condition. He admitted to the police that the wound was selfinflicted.
