“The Rev. Augustus Orlebar, M.A., vicar of Willington, and Rural Dean of the Deanery of Haynes, Recife; dshire, lias just completed tdie eightyseventh year of his age, and next month ho will have fulfilled the fiftythird year of his vicariate, says the London “Morning Post.” Although Earndish and Willington are the only parishes of which he has the spiritual cure, lie has held office continunusK for lifty-iiine years, and for a longer period than any other clergyman in Dodfordsbire. It has been recent 1\ shown that Mr Orlebar is the original of “Tom Drown,” in the famous light with Slogger Williams at Rugby School, where he was educated undei |)r. Arnold.
