Edmond Thery estimates that the wealth of France in 1892 was 9680 millions sterling, and in 1908 it was 11,691 millions. The value of agricultural land had decreased from 3434 millions to 3377 millions. AVIATION. Paris, July 31. The aviator Beaumont has won £20,440 this year, Vedrines £80(10, Garros £6OOO, and Vidart £4009.
