Newton King’s Weekly Report. At tho Haymarket on Saturday there was a good attendance and a fair yarding of pigs, which met with keen competition prices ruling on a par with last week. I quote: Slips and weaners 6s 6d to 9s 6d, small stores 10s to 12s, medium do. 12s 6d to 16s, porkers (light) 20s to 23s 6d, breeding sow 41s, calves 2s Gd to 3s, spring traps £9 to £9 ss, set harness 555.
At tho Mart.—Poultry: Only a few birds came to hand. I have an unlimited demand for all classes of birds at present. I quote: Hens Is lOd to 2s 3d, roosters Is 7d to Is lOd, potatoes 11s 6d per sack, onions 4s 6d to 5s per 801 b bag. Furniture and sundries, also a quantity of groceries, mot with keen competition.
