HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. Skating will hold the floor at His Alajesiy t. theatre tins and to-mor-row evening. On lliiac,aay a fresh programme of pictures will ue submitted. On Saturday next a matinee will be held, at which a prize of half a guinea will be presented to the child under sixteen writing tho best essay on Bernard’s Pictures. On Wednesday evening at the Skating session there will take place two hockey matches—one for ladies and one for gentlemen. Both winning teams will bo presented with half a guinea, so some unusual fun is sure to take place. Onlookers will bo admitted for 6d. WEST’S PICTURES. Tho weekly change of programme will bo presented at the Town Hall to-morrow evening, when patrons can look forward to a pleasant two hours’ amusement. CORONATION ASSEMBLY. Tho dance held last evening was very about 20 couples being present. The music, which was in the hands of Airs Bianchi (piano), and Air Cameron (violin) was most enjoyable, as was also an extra waltz very kindly played by Airs AlcNicol. Dancing was kept going merrily till 12.30, every one having a real good time, and who are already looking forward to the next dance, which will he held on Alonday evening, August 14th. Skating will bo continued tonight and every afternoon and evening as usual.
