PLAGUE.
(Received el. 9 a.m.) Amsterdam, July 30. Out of forty-one eases of plague at Malang, Dutch East India, there wore forty deaths in a week. Live cases at Kaderl, all fatal, are reported; also one at Sourahaya. (Received 31, 9.15 a.m.) New York, July 30. A case of bubonic plague has occurred at San Francisco, the cause of infection being traced to a squirrel. The victim is a boy of seven. The health authorities have despatched hundreds of men to .exterminate the squirrels in the district affected.
