MORE LIGHT WANTED.
(To the Editor, “Stratford Post.”) Sin —T notice by your paper of the 2oth instant that the Council have adopted the sub-committee's report re the purchase of tile Electrical Supply Co.’s business. I, in common with many others, think tha£ the Council are not doing tiie right tiling to the ratepayers by not publishing this report in full, more especially as Mr Masters is going to explain it at an early date, and tire ratepayers should have a chance to understand the position for themselves. lam quite sure that it ds not to the ratepayers’ interests that a matter like this should he kept secret, and trust that this report will ho published at once.-—1 am. etc., NOT A SHAREHOLMI.
Mr. Arthur 'Needham, Douglas, today brought to (fur office a horse-cov-er wideli would appear to be something of a curie. Mr. Needham states that the cover had been in use, but was hung up in the stable last October, being then entirely clean. Recently the cover was taken from its peg, and now it displays a mnnhe.r of patches of horse-hair, the presumption being that the hair has grown since the cover was hung up.
