CHINESE IN CANADA.
O Ottawa, July 23.
A vote of censure on the Government for failure to prevent the illegal entry of Chinese through Vancouver and other irregularities connected with immigration was defeated in the Federal House by 90 to 54. The Government defended itself on the ground that the law had proved defective.
