Mr. Bonar Law supports Loiu Lansdowne’s policy on tue ground that if tlio H ome Rule Bill pi eves of such a nature that the electors will oppose it, the Lords will still have power to delay tne Expiring Laws Continuance Bill aild the annual Army Bill ,tiuis making the continuance of the Government impossible, and compel an election. Mr.yßirrell, speaking at Althorp Park, said the language hurled at the Premier on Monday would have disgraced a gambling hell or a thieves’ kitchen. It was a cold-blooded, wellcrganisscl orgy of stupidity and ruffianism. Mr. Montagu, in delivering the Indian Budget in the Commons, said it was untrue that India was in a dangerous state. Lord Morley’s scheme was a complete success, Hut the time was not yet ripe for further modifications. Mr. Siieehy called attention to Mr. Lundon alleging in tbe Commons that Mr. Wm. O’Brien was descended from Nagle, the’informer. Mr. Lundon refused to withdraw the statement, and Mr. O’Brien shouted: “Then you’re an infamous liar and scoundrel.” Tbe Speaker professed he did not hear the remarks.
