(Received 27, 9.0 a.m.) Sydney, July 27. Dr. Wilson, ex-Bishop of Melanesia, in an interview in connection with work on the islands, declared that grog was still being sold all over the Now Hebrides. Ho suggested the appointment of Magistrates on each island, appointment of natives advocates on the Land Court, and that both French and English ’should be spoken by officials of the condominium. The natives knew only pigeon English, and had no chance befdre the French Courts. He also advocated issuing a proclamation against the importation of olcohol.
