o MANAWATU HUNT STEEPLECHASE. (Per Press Association) Palmerston North, July 26. The Manawatu Hunt Club’s steeplechase meeting was held to-day in fine weather and before a satisfactory attendance. Results:— Waikanae Hunters’ Hurdles.—Jackman 1, Overheard 2, Pnkeroa 3. Also started: Gargaglo, Master Webb, Marangai, Sensation, and Missie Foxton. Maiden Flat.—Bonnie Boy 1, Eminent 2, Help 3. Also started: Moutoa. Manawatu Steeplechase.-—Commo-dore 1, Glonmoro 2, Flamingo 3. Also started: Royal Guard, Lonely, Bel voir, Retainer, Puki, Warohcll, and Kiwitea. Ladies’ Bracelet.—Birdwing 1, Flying Cloud 2, Jack 3. Also started; Monty, Scotch Thistle, and Shannon. Steeples.—Jack Review 1, Toapango 2, Monty 3. Levin Hack.—Zoraidu 1, Finn acre 2, Eminent 3 Also started : Boyne Water, Himitangi, and Help. Fitzherhert Hunters’ Flat.—Jackman 1, Himitangi 2, Pnkeroa 3. Also started : Sensation, Flying Cloud, and Miharo.
