EFFECT OF SHARE MARKET. (Per Press Association ) Auckland, July 24. Both Waihi and Waihi Grand,Junction shares eased in price to-day, thus seeming to confirm private advices received that there is still danger of labour troubles occurring at Wailii. • Shares - 'in' Waihi Grsind Junction sold as low as 26s 9d, but , 4 afterwards changed hands at 3d r advance. Waihi shares were transferred gt 62s 6d and 62s 9d. There are /’ various rumours rife, pointing to the •> probability of a stoppage of operations, but on the other hand it is thought an amicable arrangement should be arrived at and thus prevent the serious loss entailed both to the men and the shareholders in the mining companies that must result from a stoppage of work in the mines.
