BUTTER EXPORTS.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, July 25. The Hon. T. Mackenzie, Minister for Industries and Commerce, lias received advice that, through tho failure of New Zealand shippers of butter to comply with the requirements of tho Canadian Customs Department, the importers inCanada have been put to considerable expense and annoyance. The Canadian Customs officers have, owing to the failure of exporters in this respect, been compelled to exact a “general” instead -f “preferential” tariff on many importations. Copies of the specimen form of invoice approved by tho Canadian Customs for goods sold by tiro exporter prior to shipment may be soon on application to the Director of Commerce and Tourists, Public Trust Buildings, Wellington.
