(To the Editor “Stratford Post.”) Sir, —A letter signed “New Chum” has just been brought under my notice. li our friend so recently arrived in the Dominion is seriously seeking information, kindly give him my assurance that the County roads in the west or any other riding are not let to any one in or out of the County, and ii he still is anxious for further information, he can know that during the past month the assistant i anger in the West Riding impounded 2f.i bullocks and 3 horses, tne property cf residents outside the County, against 2 iiorses (returned to owners) belonging to persons residing in the County. If ‘‘New Chum” takes the trouble to look up the Public Works Act be will further learn that, as long as any Council employs a straightforward ranger, there can be no nibole for any one, “New Chum” included.
