WELLINGTON EXHIBITION.

RECORD ATTENDANCE. (Per Press Association ) Wellington, July 23. There were immense crowds at the Wellington industrial exhibition .yesterday. Various exhibitors had combined and purchased the “gate” for the day, arranging many special attractions, including a baby show in the afternoon. In this event there were over 139 competitors. All the afternoon and evening the exhibition area was densely packed, and one could only move about slowly in the throng. The number that attended is not yt available, but must have run into several thousands.
