WORKERS’ GRITTYNCES. (Per Press Association ) Tiimuni, Jidy 23. The executive of the Farmers I rion decided to reply to the Farm Lai dri - ers’ Union’s request for a conference on the grounds that not being an industrial union it could net do so, but would be glad to consider the union’s grievances if stated. A committee was set up to ('port on the question of inducing the ire migration of domestics for country b'em.s only, one branch objecting and all the others favouring the suggest mu. It was decided to affiliate with tne Employers’ Federation.
