MILITARY TRAINING.

(For Press Association ) Auckland, July 21. At the Police Court Edward Drummer, aged fourteen, was charged with failing’to enrol as a senior cadet under the defence .regulations. The boy’s father stated that his son had asked his instructions. He objected to militarism on principle and asked that the. line should bo small. The Magistrate said ho had nothing to consider beyond the fact that the boy had failed to register. Ho imposed a line of £2 and costs and advised the father to let his son register to save further prosecution.
