Kemp and Gawls’s Market Report. On Saturday last wo held our usual auction sale. There was a good attendance of buyers, prices being welt maintained. We quote:—Poultry: Good pullets ‘2s 9d to 3s lid, hens Is Gd to 2s od, roosters Is 4d to 3s 3d; goose, 4s; turkeys, os; purebred rooster, ss. Vegetables and produce: Cabbages, Is 9d to 2s 3d per doz; parsnips (small hags), Is 3d; onions (small hags), Is 6d to Is 9d; beet, per doz., Is 9d ; carrots (small hags), Is; pumpkins and marrows, 3d to Is 9d each, according to quality. Furniture, book, and auction sundries at usual prices.
