THE KING’S PRIZE. London, July 19. In the. first stage of the King’s Prize, the winner of the bronze medal was Corporal Trainor, of Canada, with a score of 101. Paris, of Australia, made 96; Hay, New Zealand, 95; Pettigrew, Australia, 94; Roots and Cox, New Zealand, 93. (Received 20, 9.45 a.m.) London, July 19. The following additional New Zealanders have qualified for the second stage of the King’s Prize:—Cuthbertson, Marenzi, James, and Loveday, 92; D’Arcy, Wakely, Ching, 90; Marshall, 89.
