RELIGIOUS DISTURBANCES
London, July 17. There were serious religious disturbances in the working class quarter ■between Shankhill Falls road and Belfast, crowds mutually stoning each other. There were numerous baton charges. Some private houses n ere wrecked and furniture burnt in the street. Both ends of the disturbed area were cordoned, and several rioters arrested.
