FOOTBALL.
PRIMARY SCHOOL SHIELD. At m Stratford on / Saturday the Stratford School team met Now Plymouth, Conti al, and won by 21. to 3. The Stratford ( team played with good combination, and were far too clever for their opponents. Mr. D. J. Alalone. acted as referee. Cm Saturday next the local boys will meet a team from the New Plymonth West End .School, and if they win this match will hold the shield for a year.
