CADETS OUT OF CONTROL.

BOY OFFICERS STONED. Melbourne, July 5. A number of cadets at Yarraville last night gob out of control. Fifty boys were on the parade ground, when about twenty others came up. Some of them yelled “Give it to the kid officers,” meaning the Cadets who have risen to non-commissioned rank. The boy officers under the sergeantmajor, went, on with their work. Suddenly a stone was thrown, and hit one of them. The disturbance quickly spread, and infected many who were being drilled. Stones and mud wore plentiful. The sergeant-major and the hoy officers were forced to take refuge in the area office, which was bombarded with stones for a quarter of an hour.
