ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

(Ter Press Association.) Christchurch, July 12. George Blowitt, a middle-aged unmarried man, was killed this morning at 9.30 o’clock through the collapse of a hrick wall which was being removed. Clias Littlecott ard Jack Currie, who were working with him, were seriously injured. An old building in Gloucester Street is being pulled down. Blewitt and his companions were undermining a brick wall about 12 feet high. Apparently no precaution was taken to stay the wall. When the wall collapsed the men were taken unaware and buried in bricks and mortal 1 .
