FOOTBALL.
RETURN OF UNIVERSITY TEAM. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, July 12. The University footballers returned from their Sydney trip to-day. All the members of the team speak highly of their stay, and report that the Union game has now passed the worst phase of the counter-attraction in the shape of League football; also they speak highly of the calibre and stamp of the men in the Union game. It is estimated the trip will result m a slight profit, probably £2O.
