London, July 12. , In the International-University contests, America won the hurdles, Chisholm’s time being 15 2-5 sec., an inter-university record; also the high and long jumps, and half-mile. The English won throwing the hammer, the hundred yards, quarter-mile, mile, and two miles. There was great enthusiasm over the English winning the llnai event.
