KOHURATAHI NOTES.
(From our own Correspondent.) Wool-growers and all those interested in the classing and grading will l>e pleased to learn that the Taranaki Education Board lias purchased fleeces and samples of wool from Christchurch and specimens of South Island (wool also—merino, etc,, thus there will be a greater variety of wool at the practical classes which are hold by Mr Cassidy, the Board’s export classer. Those classes have been placed within the roach of most of us, and wo should show keen interest in a tiling which is one of the mainstays of our country, ior the ever growing demand for wool is - hound sooner or Inter to make us take this matter of classing and grading to ourselves, and when one considers that there is a --decided difference in proper iy classified wool and unclassified —the market value is. proof of thiswhich means that the careful farmer is a. modern man, and will keep abreast of the times.
