A meeting of the Davis Ciu» management committee adopted the resolution of the Now Zealand Assoc iation recommending that the challenge r.’o be played at Christchurch. A sub-committco, including the presidents of the Canterbury, Wellington, Auckland, and Otago Associations, and Mr Griffiths, president of the New Zealand Association at the time of the contest, was appointed to carry out the local arrangements. Pi nancial arrangements wore hold over pending further information from Now Zealand. It was decided to ask •Norman Brookes to act as sole selector of the Australasian team.
