THE BAND.

(To the Editor, “Stratford Post.”) Sir,—l was glad to see by your paper that the Borough Council arc moving in the direction of,the re-formation ot the Brass Hand. ! am sure the Council can depend on tiie hearty support of the townspeople in the mutter. 1 believe wo have plenty of instillments, and if a capable teacher be appointed to instruct the young lads, who would only be too glad of the opportunity of learning, a good Band could.soon begot together. The absence of a band was sorely felt, at our Coronation procession. Hoping our governing body will ret lot this matter drop, as a band is really tiie public’s musical recreation, and adds greatly to every cut-door sport.—l am. etc., CORNET.
