RAILWAY APPEAL BOARD.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, July S. ! The Railway Appeal Board disallowed the appeal by Guard A. J. Campbell against his dismissal for alleged misconduct, arising out of a dispute with the stationmaster at Te Kuili. The Board wished it to be ui.'.dsfstcvxi that the appeal was .'is , mjssel solely on the ground of the necessity to uphold the regulations j'iiov cast no reflection on the applicant’s ability in the discharge of Ids duty, or on his character.. During the'case objection was taken to a do-p-jrtmoutal officer putting in. a record of fines against appellant on the ground that the record only showed what was against the man, not his g00d... c'oixdnct: as .well. The Court upheld, the objection.
