Sydney, July 5. Before tire Shortage of Labour Commission, representatives of several tailoring linns gave evidence that trade was seriously hampered owing to the scarcity of hands. Much business was refused in consequence. One witness said that in recent years there had been a large increase in general prosperity, and the people wore '.rearing more and better clothes.
