Newton King’s Report. At the Haymarket on Saturday there was a good attendance. Pigs were penned in small numbers, competition being good. I quote: Slips and weaners 9s to 10s Gel, stores IGs Gd to 245, trap £9 ; sundries at usual rates. I held my monthly horse fair at Stratford on Saturday last. There was a fair yarding of useful horses and the inquiry was good throughout. 1 1 quote: Unbroken I to £lO to £24, hacks £5 to £ll, broken :J to heavy draughts £22 to £O3 10s. ’-draughts £l2 10s to £l9, hacks £5 to £ls IGs.
