ARRIVAL OF THE GOVERNOR. BUTTER AWARDS. (Per Press Association.) Hawera, July 5. The Governor arrived last night to open the Dominion Winter Show today. He was present at a lecture given' by the Hon. T. Mackenzie. Butter Awards. Class I. —Factory butter: Bell Block 91, Ist; Meremero 934, 2nd; Levin, 93, 3rd. 801 l Block won the Taranaki championship with 94, Stratford 93V, Moremore 93. Class TlL—Factory butter; Won by Bnnnythorpo with 934: Stratford, Ballancc, Cheltenham, and Levin wore next, each with 93V The prizes will he adjusted accordingly. The• special class, suitable for export, was awarded to Kapnnga, with 92; Ballancc second, 914; Pihama 91 (the only other competitor).
