Q —. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, July 4. At the Police Court a seafaring man named Wm. West was charged with presenting a revolver at David Gallagher in Quean Street. Gallagher states that he saw accused presenting n revolver at another man, and interfered, when ho was knocked down and kicked. Dor tlie defence it was stated that West had "been attacked by a number of men, and drew the revolver in self-defence. He mistook Gallagher for one of bis assailants. He was warned, and fined 40s and costs.
