An advertiser has a Haako piano for sale. A woman for washing and cleaning is wanted. A motor car head light is advertised for. ' Mr. W. Montgomerie, who was lately stock agent for the Loan and Mercantile, Stratford, has started at To Aroha as a land and stock and general commission agent, and will he pleased to see old Taranaki friends. Owing to rumours being circulated that ho is in partnership with Air. J. D. Alorisou, Mr. Montgomerie wishes it to he known that he is working solely on Ids own account. Attention is directed to his advertisement appearing in another column.* To save the trouble of handling a heavy stock at stock-taking which takes place in August, A. Spence has decided to hold a great shelf-empty-ing sale, commencing on Saturday, July Ist. The firm of A. Spence. Broadway, Stratford, is now well known to the public of this town and district, having been here, for over a year. ' The great shelf-emp-tying sale which he is now holding should go a long way towards attaining tins desirable end.* Tho Melbourne Clothing Company announces the arrival of a second big consignment of clean, specially selected British army riding coats with good long capes, as issued to the Royal Field Artillery. These famous coats are known as “First Grade,” and are the very best of their kind supplied by the Biritish Government to its forces, both at Homo and abroad.
