! , ■ v>.y' • (Per Press Association.) Auckland, July 1. ’ Arthur John Stanfield, a remittance man, aged 47 years, died in Mount Eden Gaol while' on remand to get over the effects of a drinikng bout. Deceased was well connected in the Old Country, and at one time practised as a solicitor in England.
