FRENCH POLITICS.
THE NEW MINISTRY. Paris, June 28. The new Ministry is MM. Caillaux (Minister of the Interior), Cruppi (Justice), Deselves, who is Do Freycinet’s nephew (Foreign Affairs), Delcasse and Klotz (Finance). The Cabinet intends to pass the Budget rapidly, and to ask Parliament to adopt a now system, of protection on a “regional” basis, which will replace the present system of delimitation. It also proposes to compromise on the question - of electoral reform', so as to make it acceptable to reformers and Republicans not desiring a change in regard to tho endeavours to secure a reinstatement of the dismissed railwaymen. The Lord Mayor calls a meeting for Friday for the* purpose of launching a movement to perpetuate tho meincry of King Edward VII. Twenty-five members of the Highland Society have already promised £SOO to the fund.
