SHOOTING FATALITY. Auckland, Juno 26. As the result of the accidental discharge of a gun, Theodore Ballance, son of the schoolmaster at Mangl'd ui, was shot in tho groin while ono of a shooting party at Doubtless Bay. Ho died in Mangonui hospital. A BUSHFELLINgT ACCIDENT. Gisborne, June 26. Walter Wells, while hushfelling at Hangaroa, was pinned against a tree by a falling trunk and received severe internal injuries. He was brought in to the town hospital.
