ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
BOY FATALLY SHOT. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, Juno 19. A boy named H. Hjorch, aged 12. tho son of a resident of Hotoo, was climbing a tree with a gun to shoot sparrows when the trigger was caught by a twig. Tho gun exploded, blowing away tho boy’s lower jaw. He was removed to the hospital, and died there.

Edwin Pinch, aged 81, died tin’s morning as the result of injuries received a fortnight ago consequent on the overt,nr ling of a bucket of boiling water.
