ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, June 19. A man named Charles Hrown, mid-dle-aged, was arrested for drunkenness while in possession ol firearms at 8.15 o’clock -yesterday morning, and was taken- to the police cells. On arrival there he said he had taken arsenic. A doctor was summoned and an emetic administered. Throughout the day Brown was regularly visited, but shortly after 7 p.m. he was found dead. Napier, June 19. ' —The body of a man about 70 years of age was found floating in the breakwater harbour yesterday afternoon. ITe had lieen out tending cows, and as lie did not return hid was sent out to look for him. He found him lying on the ground dead". Ho leaves a widow and five children.
