NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW ENTRIES.

That widespread interest is taken in the National' Dairy Show may' he judged from the entries for the'various competitive I sections , made from all parts of the Dominion. LV butter and cheese (hisses 70 factories are exhibiting and, although each factory is limited to dliV'entCy, the value of the produce on'exhibition total's over £BOO. There is a lino entry of apples exhibiting in the £lO champion class and other classes; one of the prizes being the Royal Horticultural Society's niedal. The vegetable section, collection of farm roots, and entries in the farm produce sections, total 275. 'The public • school gardens’ section will make a very lino display, and live schools will bo represented in the hays, and a nice collection in the separate classes for roots. Home cookery, preserves, and pickles will be an interesting feature to the ladies, with a ‘total"of 170 entries. The poultry 'section includes utility poultry; pigeons ,:md canariek, and the total entry....isincluding North and Smith Island exhibitors. The ring coin petitions are a feature at. the Show' iiiter-Collcgo football matches on,the .Wednesday :on Thursday, Coronation’ Day, hunting events, foi which there are GO entries, besides post entry competitions. Tire Association football matches will also be played, and on Friday there are woodchopping and sawing competitions. Altogether, the National Dairy Show is full of interesting and fascine,ting features that cannot fail to appeal to any visitor.
