CLatford Wool, Skin, Hides, and Taii-fcv Silo. Newton King’s Report. On Tuosda, .June Gth, i Isold my usual four weekly sale of above produce. The catalogue comprised J 1 Isales and 5(5 sacks wool, 29 TO sheepskins, J 7 casks and G 8 tins tallow, 110 S hides, 252 calfskins and the usual assortment of hones, horscha. , eowtaiis, etc. There was a goeo attendance of buyers, and competition was keen. Sheepskins and wool wore on a par with late rates wu-i t!ie exception of two or three lots of the best skins, these advanced i d per lb. Ox hides advanced Id to id par lb; those showing good substance met with keen competition, selling as high B{jd per lb; heavy and medium weight cows’ advanced id to id; light cow sold at late rates. Our telegraphic advices .Gstorday from Copenhagen indicate that the* market there continues dull, xnd the quotation to-day has been declared unchanged. Danish' and Swedish.—The total ihipmonts of Danish to the British markets this week show an increase of 1231 casks. There has been an improved demand and stocks of choicest quality are well cleared at a reduction of 3s to 4s under last week’s rates. Choicest quality Ills to 112 s. Siberian. —The total arrivals during the past week have been about 5000 casks. The quality continues to be fine, but the demand is not quite so brisk as it was. Choicest goods arc now obtainable at 98s to 100 s, while very fine goods indeed are offered at 94s to 90s. Secondary grades remain difficult to move. Prices are irregular—Bls to 925. Dish Creamery Gutter. The season in Ireland is now in nil swing, and the quantity availble is increasing daily. The quality, ov/cvcr, is not all that it might bn :ho great majority of the ’luttivs culling forward being by no mear fchoicest quality. Continue plentiful, and good value in those is obtainable at 90s, 925, and 01s. Saltless continues to meet, -with i fairly ready sale. To-day’s quotaions, 101 s to 100 s. The market of this grade continues fairly steady, choicest quality ex this boat being offered at 108 s, although \vc believe that in some cases Is or even 2s less has been accepted. Cheese. Canadian.-—The market during the past week has been brisker, and prices are firmer; choicest white Gls, coloured Cos. New Zealand.—The quieter feeling which wo reported in our last has now passed off, and there is much steadier trade; choicest white and col cured, G2s to G2s Cd.
