Melbourne, June 15. The Italian Consul-General has received from the Italian Government medals for distribution among those chiefly instrumental in collecting subscriptions for the relief of the victims if the earthquake in 1908, including i silver medal for Ward. POSTAL REGULATIONS. Melbourne, Juno 15. An alteration has been made in the postal regulations, whereby registered articles in future will he delivered to the addressee personally, or returned to the sender. This applies oven in case of death,. EARTH DISTURBANCES. Melbourne, Juno 15. A series of earth disturbances have occurred in the Italian district. There are fissures eight feet deep, hug? trees have been torn up, and big mounds created. It is not known whether the cause is a landslide or seismic disturbance.
