The Italian Consul-General has received from the Italian Government medals for distribution among those chiefly instrumental in collecting subscriptions for the relief of the victims if the earthquake in 1908, including i silver medal for Ward. An alteration has been made in the postal regulations, whereby registered articles in future will he delivered to the addressee personally, or returned to the sender.
