The secretary cf the Labour Council has received a letter from a resident of Fiji, seeking to enlist the Council’s sympathy against what he terms the enslavement of the natives. (Received 12, 9 a.m.) Paris, June 11. Two hundred and fifty boys, aged from ten to nineteen, mutinied in the penitentiary at- Belle Island. They complained that the food was uneatable, and after arming themselves iv.- scythes'and pitcrfprks, locked up ~.e officers. The boys then scattered over the island. Gendarmes have been cent to arrest them. •
