HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. There was a good attendance at His Majesty’s Theatre last night, when a nrogronr.no of nietnres war. submitted. “Nell’s Farm” was a hue dramatic tale of London slum life. “Unexpected Help” showed phases of Western American life, and “The Place of Lace" was a highly dramatic story acted in thn best manner. Among + l»o comic semi-on, “Ma-iu-Law on Skates” was the most hilarious. The other pictures shown were of a high order of merit, and were thoroughly appreciated. A very acceptable cornet duet was contribute by Sid and Eileen Bernard, and Mr Will Hianmnd gave the illustrated snug “Sister” with good effect. • Mr Lichtvark gave a mandolin solo, also supplying mandolin and ’cello music for some of fire pictures. The programme will be repeated this evening. Business done in a business-like way is characteristic of the Egmont Clothing Company, and a word or two on the matter will he found elsewhere on this page.
