RIFLE SHOOTING.

(By liisloy.) On Monday the Stratford Rifle Club and a field day of shooting. Tho attendance of members was a hit disauraging. only eleven putting in an ippoaranco. borne very fine shooting vas ck.nc during the day, several pos,biles being put on. 1 tie second and third stages of Watson’s Cup was iirsd for, also Hailenstein Tiros’ trophy. Riflemen \\. Rogers and A. Ferguson lied for the cup. In the shoot-off Rifleman Rogers scored 4G to Ferguson’s 41, out of the possible 00, thus winning tho cup. This is the second time in succession that Rifleman Rogers has won the cup. ft now becomes his own. Rogers received tho congratulations of all present. Rifleman Rogers also received a login for the H.B. trophy, scoring thelimit (100) at 200, 500, and GOO yards. On leaving tha mounds three cheers were given to the cup winner, who suitably responded.
